We’re snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef tomorrow! I’m really looking forward to this since I haven’t snorkeled since I lived in Miami and hit up Key Biscayne. I’m pretty sure this will be 100 times better! The following day we’re going white water rafting for 5 hours. Since we did this in NZ recently I’m not too afraid like I was last time. As for tonight? Just lounging around the hostel watching movies and $10 all you can eat pizza. Score! :)


7am 10k done! Multi-cultural church mass done! Multi-cultural food bbq done! Bags packed done! About to bring the pup over to her vacation spot and then we’re off to Cairns! I can’t believe a week from now Kev will be competing in his first Ironman. What an accomplishment! For me? I’m looking forward to some Great Barrier Reef snorkeling and some relaxing in the sun at the lagoon :)


I’m so sorry tumblr world for being MIA. I’ve had a pretty tough week with a lot of low points. The good news is that we leave for Cairns tomorrow and hopefully a fun week will follow. On another somewhat happy note, I’m down 7 pounds! Granted it’s mostly water weight from the fact I can’t eat when I’m emotional. But now that I’m down I’m determined to keep it going the right way (as in eating well and exercising). Praying for things to turn around soon….


Today I am just really pissed off. I’m done crying and being upset and now I’m just angry. I hate this >:(


Note to self… when carbonating a bottle of water, make sure the water is cold and not warm. This will avoid the bottle exploding right in your face! Epic fail.


Ran another 10k this morning. It was absolutely freezing this morning so I think that made me move right along. 1:00:59 for an average pace of 9:44 which is 2 minutes faster than last week! The final race is next Sunday before we board the plane to Cairns. Really hoping to break 1 hour next week (which I have done before but not recently)! Now it’s time to attack the laundry and maybe have some cuddle time with the pup!


Just had the best homemade mango fro-yo ever! A friend made it and brought the machine over with her to our dinner. I now need to get me one of those machines!! As in I want to order it NOW!! lol


I’ve increased my running and still doing zumba twice a week. Yet the scale seems to just be creeping up :( I know everyone says you should go by the way your clothes fit… the problem? They don’t fit! I had to order 2 pairs of jeans a size up cause I’m just not comfortable in my other ones. I have absolutely no idea why I’m gaining considering I’m eating relatively ok and I’m working out. So today I made sure to really watch my eating. Had a nice can of soup for lunch with some veggies and then made an amazing dinner! Grilled salmon, mashed sweet potatoes and a salad with veggies on top. Really hoping it starts to drop, especially since I’m heading away on vacation to Cairns in less than 2 weeks. Fingers crossed!



My crystal light raspberry tea order and new copco cup came in the mail today!!! Love love love it!
